Help Hungry People in South Louisiana by joining the Food Bank Advocacy Network!
The mission of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Greater New Orleans and Acadiana is to lead the fight against hunger in South Louisiana through food distribution, education, advocacy, and disaster response. Our role in the community uniquely positions Second Harvest to engage public officials and citizens alike in fighting hunger. The Food Bank Advocacy Network is central to helping us fulfill our mission. By focusing on public policy issues that relate specifically to hunger relief, we can work together to make a significant impact in the lives of Louisianans and hungry people across the nation.
As an Advocate for Second Harvest, you will receive action alerts to write letters, call legislators, and take action on behalf of the food bank. Would you be willing to write a letter, send an email, make a phone call or attend an event to help impact legislation that alleviates hunger?
