People 65 and older are some of the most at-risk members of the Acadiana community. They’ve worked all their lives, and now they need our help. We are in need of regular volunteers to help us continue preparing hot meals for delivery to these Seniors in our community.
How you can help: Anyone aged 15 or older can volunteer to help prepare Senior meals at the St Joseph Diner kitchen, located at 405 St John St in Lafayette.
When am I needed? Our volunteer shifts are available seven days a week! (Hours / day specifics here.)
Are there any special requirements to volunteer? Volunteers will need to be able to work on their feet for up to 2-3 hours at a time.
Call our volunteer hotline at 337-408-2469. Leave a message and someone will return your call right away!
You can also email us at firstname.lastname@example.org – Please include your name and phone number and a specialist will be in touch to get you signed up.
Volunteers are the backbone of our mission to fight hunger. Join us today to help prepare meals in our St Joseph Kitchen to feed our Greatest Generation. They have done so much for all of us, please help us return the favor to them.
