At Second Harvest, we know that emergency food assistance is only a temporary solution to hunger. That’s why we also provide access to additional public and private resources for clients struggling to achieve economic stability. Our Client Services team provides one-on-one case management, both in person and over the phone, to thousands of individuals and families across South Louisiana.
Our bilingual staff and volunteers are here to listen and troubleshoot with community members. We begin each conversation with the question: how can we help? We then tailor our services to the needs of the individual. Our team is trained to help our customers access resources that will help move them along the path toward self-sufficiency, until they no longer need to rely on a food pantry or SNAP benefits to put food on the table.
