The National Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive is our biggest food drive of the year!
How you can help: In the days leading up to Saturday, May 14, residents of Jefferson, Orleans, St. Bernard and parts of St. Tammany Parishes will receive a brown paper grocery bag in their mailbox. Please fill the bag with nonperishable food items and leave it for your letter carrier to pick up on the morning of Saturday, May 9.
Thank you for helping us make this our biggest food drive ever! Over the years, this food drive made possible by the NALC and the U.S. Postal Service has collected more than one billion pounds of food for local food banks across the nation.
(Please note – Due to the volume of food the letter carriers will be picking up this Saturday, we ask that you not include food in glass containers for this drive.)
The Second Harvest/NALC “Stamp Out Hunger” Food Drive is made possible by the generous local support of BP.
