Every duck entry will directly help Second Harvest serve communities across 23 parishes in South Louisiana. There are more than 436,000 neighbors who experience food insecurity in South Louisiana. Second Harvest helps ensure the basic food needs of families and individuals in our community are met.
WHY DO PEOPLE GIVE? The #1 reason that people give? Because you ask them! Your enthusiasm for Second Harvest the Ducky Derby is your best asset!
What is a Duck Derby Sales Team?
A Duck Derby Sales Team is a group of friends, family, students, coworkers or anyone who wants to join forces to raise money for Second Harvest! Duck Derby Sales Teams leverage their respective networks – from co-workers, customers and vendors to family, friends and neighbors – to sell as many duck entries as possible, all to support Second Harvest. In 2024, over 30% of duck entries were sold by teams! Our goal this year is 30,000 ducks racing and we need your help to make it happen!
Team Captain – The Team Captain is responsible for registering their team and coordinating outreach.
Team Members – The more, the merrier! Team members can be from the same company, organization, family or group. Ducks sold can be tracked individually under your team listing.
Team Name – Be creative but remember to choose a name that’s readily recognizable by your group and your network. Click here to check our Duck Teams.
