St. Joseph Diner Helps Patrons Get on Their Feet

“We are open seven days a week, and we serve a lunch meal to anyone who is hungry,” St. Joseph Diner Director Leigh Peterson Rachel told us.  “So, any day of the week at 11:00 o’clock, we serve approximately 150 to 200 individuals lunch.”

“Second Harvest is a great support to us. They provide us with many of the canned goods we use for cooking.  In addition, we get fresh fruits and vegetables from them.  A great deal of the food we provide is directly from Second Harvest.”
